News — Get ready for a dose of adorable! Hackensack University Medical Center's Take Your Child to Work Day 2025 is back and bigger than ever!

Join 300+ mini-medics as they explore the exciting world of health care with dozens of activities designed to help shape the next generation of lifesavers including:
- EMS Adventures: Lights, sirens& stethoscopes! Meet our EMS heroes and tour a real ambulance (no emergency required).
- Teddy Bear ER: Plushie patients are in good hands at our Teddy Bear Clinic – where stitches and smiles are always free.
- Heart & Vascular Explorers: Little hands will learn big things about the human heart – from listening with stethoscopes to mock blood pressure checks and even hands-on CPR!
- Lab Coats & Microscopes: A scavenger hunt through the fascinating world of lab and pathology – organs under microscopes included!
- X-Ray Visionaries: Future radiologists will don sterile gear, navigate a vein finder challenge, and even x-ray a cell phone!
- Respiratory Rockstars: From nebulizers to ventilators, kids will explore the amazing world of respiratory therapy with interactive demos.
- Window to the World of Newborns: Observe adorable newborns through the nursery window and learn about the amazing first moments of life.
- Cast Crew: From breaks to sprains, learn how casts help bones heal. Kids will get to practice applying and removing a cast.
- Suit Up: Become a mini-surgical superhero! Kids will learn the importance of infection control and practice donning personal protective equipment (PPE) just like the pros.
